Course Description
Are you working for a UN organization, an International Organisation (e.g. IFRC) or for a National Agency of a Member State and you want to know how to properly work with the EU funding? Improve your skills in implementing EU-funded project, through this course, focusing on the main rules of the Pillar Assessed Grant or Delegation Agreements (PAGoDA). The course starts with an introduction of the two management modes under which you can work with the EU, direct management and indirect management to highlight the main differences. It also addresses the main challenges faced by the key actors (lead organization and different partners) related to the eligibility of costs, accounting, reporting, dealing with changes, communication and visibility and verification of expenditure.
The course Is more effective if combined with the eLearning “All you need to know about PAGoDA”.

- Easily identify the differences between direct and indirect management
- Know the main peculiarities of Grant Agreements and Delegation Agreements
- Understand the different roles of the lead organisation and of the various partners
